For this day, we have planned the ascent of Mount Guajara, with 2,715m the third highest summit on Tenerife. The Guajara is located on the southern end of the Cañadas high plateau.

Meeting point will be at 11 a.m. at the Parador de Turismo (2,150m), from where busses are leaving to Puerto de la Cruz and Playa de las Américas at 4 p.m. In April, we are going to check the options for this hiking tour. We might suppose an easier variant just climbing up to the pass, or a more difficult one down to the Paisaje Lunar (moon landscape), where you can see some natural tuff pilars that were washed out by the rain (for this option, good condition and a car or ride for the return will be necessary).
