Dry air and little light from residential areas make the high plateau of the Cañadas a perfect spot for watching the night skies. In the end of August, we might even be able to catch a glimpse of one or another shooting star from the Perseids.

Ascent from La Esperanza with view of the Teide

We would like to meet with you in the late afternoon at 6 p.m. in La Esperanza and go by car with stops at various viewpoints up to the high plateau of the Cañadas. For this excursion, a car or ride in sombody else’s car, which we will organize on this page, will be necessary. We are also going to let you know, if we add more to the agenda for that day.
